We nearly did take them at the end.

Not bad considering we have the worst owners, manager, squad and stadium in the league.

It could have been worse, we could still have Bilic and lost by a hatfull in total disgrace.

He always looks good against us, NS.

Like he gives it that bit extra to impress. You know if he signed for us we’d get that type of performance once in every six games. If he managed to stay fit.

Have to say i'm a bit disappointed tonight... when I saw the Goon' line up I thought they was there to be taken.... no doubt about Moyes has got us shored up and last 2 games the oppo' have not looked like scoring (oggy and Cresswell superb)... but... I dunno... I can understand the CFC game how that was played out... but tonight for me they was there for the taking... we played that like we was at the Emirates... thats what disappointed me... anyway... if we get the chance for Wilshire we should go all out... he was superb tonight

Before these last three games, if you’d offered me 4 points, two clean sheets, evens on goal difference, I’d have taken your hand off at the shoulder.

Good stuff.

Means fuck all if we don’t keep it up against the likes of Stoke, Bournemouth and West Brom.

We shall see, but I’m positive and hopeful for now.

Lovely bit of sour grapes from Wenger.

Are people still moaning about Moyes? How odd. Get Bilic back in yeah? Would have seen more goals this week right?

I don't give a toss on Moyes's "last three jobs" I care about West Ham.
We've been a different side in the last three games against much highly rated opposition in every department.I can't see any reason to not back the bloke.
Give it a fucking rest.

We’d settled for the point at half time. Dangerous game to play against Arsenal, but we got away with it.

I've had 2 rib injuries from football GPH so I do appreciate how much it affects you, didn't realise he had a rib injury.
Shame because he is a great player but not been able to get fit since his op and missed pre season too.

What I’ve seen in Arnie in the last two games, is that he can beat defenders and has the potential to be a match winner. He has literally been like a new signing. Need to see more of it.

Hi Norm!!

Some of us don’t rate him based on his last three jobs, but don’t let that get in the way of your agenda.

Still, four points from two home games isn’t too shabby, let’s see how we approach our next away game.

How refreshing not getting torn apart by anyone with a half decent attack.

A bit of organisation, fitness and a rocket up the arse and we look a formidable outfit, imagine my shock.

Didn’t expect us to turn out back to back performances like that, the final ball just didn’t click for us tonight in the same way it did in the first half on Saturday.

Antonio don’t look fit at all but still was an outlet, if he needs game time then lucky for him they’re coming thick and fast.

Chicarito buries that if he has match sharpness.

Who knew Ogbonna can actually defend and track runners, the defensive unit was solid and Nobes n’alf cover some grass, he was everywhere.

Lanzini missing for large parts, but Arnie and Arthur are doing the business.

All in all a good night, big game Saturday, maybe a couple of changes on account of fatigue? Whoever plays I get the real sense that the players are buying into Moyes and what he’s trying to do.

gph 1:13 Thu Dec 14
Re: ⚽ West Ham v Arsenal - The Official Match Thread
Only Antonio and possibly Arnie have got the explosive pace to play that role. But Antonio just hasn't got the stamina to keep it up for the whole match at the moment.

It's Moyes' credit that he recognises Antonio is much better as a lone striker than Andy Carroll (Carroll hasn't got the pace to pressure defenders if the ball up to him goes to them rather than him). But you still have to cut Antonio some slack, given the nature of his recent injury.

Jaan Kenbrovin 1:13 Thu Dec 14
Re: ⚽ West Ham v Arsenal - The Official Match Thread FT 0-0
13.

Fair enough, Antonio didn't have any real chances, but worked hard and was involved in us going forward.

There is far more to football than glory of assists and goals. Which now have dried up for Antonio seems to be a concern, yet he does every bit as much of the collar as he did when he was getting them.

Adrian MOTM was ludicrous
Did what he had to but Arsenal had 3 shots on target and his only save of note was the free kick diving to his left in the second half

Agree with that mate.

I'll take a draw up there if offered.
with the games coming thick and fast.

Patience is key...don't get caught up in the we 'must win' the next game attitude.

Some idiots on here don't rate Moyes based on the Watford and Everton games...
Clueless cunts
